Landon Basketball vs. The Hoosiers

Any American boy can be a basketball star if he grows up, up, up. ~Bill Vaughn~
During this game, we actually heard Landon say: "Don't throw it to me! Don't throw it to me!"
Landon tries to get in on the rebound.

Taking a breather - there were only 2 subs the whole game!

Trying to decide what to do...

MFHS Soccer vs. Vista Ridge

If this can be termed the century of the common man, then soccer, of all sports, is surely his game.... ~Stanley Rous, 1952~

Corky takes advantage of a long kick.

The Mustang defenders held Vista Ridge to only 2 goals.

STATS:The Mustangs scored first in this hard-fought game against the Rangers. It was the first time Vista Ridge had been scored on all season! Corky had several shots on goal, but he could never seem to place them exactly where they needed to go. After a controversial goal by Vista Ridge in the second half, the score was tied 1-1 until the final minutes of the game when Vista Ridge took advantage of a poorly handled ball and drove in for the score.Final score Vista Ridge 2, MFHS 1

Landon Basketball vs. The Seminoles

There are really only two plays: Romeo and Juliet, and put the darn ball in the basket.
~Abe Lemons~

Landon dribbles down the court.

Fast break - in for a steal!

Taking a shot...

Landon eyes a Seminole player's next move.

A watched shot never rebounds!

Landon Basketball vs. The Huskies

The invention of basketball was not an accident.
It was developed to meet a need. Those boys simply would not play "Drop the Handkerchief."
~James Naismith~

Landon blocks a Husky's shot.

Racing for the ball...

Hangin' on for the jump ball!

Nice pass!
